One Lottery Strategy

The Internet is awash with vendors saying You Must Do This and You Must Do That. Sometimes it appears there are more lottery strategies than players. You have probably seen the ads that say, ‘Use this strategy and win the lottery on Saturday or You are guaranteed to win the lottery if you use our famous lotto system’. Hogwash.This is unfortunate. It is the deafening din of such outrageous claims that obscures any valid discussion from ever seeing the light of day. The tarnish from such babble will also stain any valid strategy. But, we soldier on.
First of all, let us get this straight. There is no system, plan, method, technique or strategy that can guarantee you will win the lottery. None. If you are shown one, put your hand on your wallet and walk away; better yet, run away. If someone said, ‘Read my book and you will win the World Series of Poker, would you believe that? I hope your answer is not.
Second, you can improve your chances of winning the lottery. That is a fact. There are valid ways to do that. Just like improving your poker play by reading Doyle Brunson’s book, Super Systems, you can very logically improve your chances of winning the lottery. Notice, I didn’t say Win the Lottery, I sais chances of Winning the Lottery. Can you think of any reason why you should just play the lottery the same way as everyone else in your state. Is there some reason why you should not use your brain while playing the lottery. This does not mean you’re going to win the jackpot but, it is definitely more fun playing the lottery when you know you have an advantage.
